What I Am!!

So today we had to highlight a line that we are going to ex plane on our blog. Of the What I Am.  I chose There's only one me, I am it. i think it means to be who you are and no one can be you cause you are the only one of you even if you are a twin.

Broken: Rock, Paper, Scissors

So this week we have been witting something called Broken: Rock, Paper, Scissors you probably now have an idea on what that is. So we had to write on a characters perspective I was the rock. First we had to watch a video then write as what character you are going to be. If you would like to find the video then search up broken rock paper scissors and its the one with the rock man and the fairy. Heres mine. I had to write it down here because it wouldn't let me put it on.

Rock

I finally hatched I looked over the edge and saw a marvellous lady. She was the prettiest lady in the woods. I mumbled “She is so pretty I think I’m in love”, I couldn't stop myself from loving her, because she was so beautiful. She was flying around, making the flowers grow. 

I saw scissors I growled “Stay back Scissors” I saw Scissors coming for her, I was about to jump off but then I fell. She looked at me and I noticed Scissors was coming for her. I grabbed her arm and tried to get her to come with me, but then my rocks were cracking. So I let go of her but said “Come with me”. We ran away but Scissors was chasing after us. We ran as far as we could to a dead end. 

She took a life risk and tried to kill scissors. But scissors cut her. She fainted, I thought she died for a minute but then I felt her breathing. 

 I jumped up and smashed scissors. I risked my life and carried her to the closest rock.  I started cracking and cracking and cracking, all the way there. By the time I got there I was falling into pieces. Then I felt nothing, because I was dying. All I could feel was the water of her tears. So I said to my dying self “It is over I’m not alive, But I will always love you paper”.

Arrays

In math we have been learning to solve multiplication problems by using repeated and addition or our times tables. Mrs Mcguinniety gave us a sheet with smiley faces on it and we had to cut them up in rectangles. We then had to work out how many faces there were in each, one using repeated addition or time tables.                                 

 

ARWEN ALTER IT!

Today in Cybersmart we had to make a slide called your name then Alter It. We had to alter the things on the slide and then at the end slide we did a alter of what ever we would like. I didn't find anything challenging, I found most of it easy. My favorite one is the last slide. Witch one is your favorite alter?

Oink and Cluck by Arwen

In Math we did something called oink and cluck. Oink and cluck is a math thing I had to do. It said How many chicken and pigs are there all together? 36 legs all together. Pigs 4 legs, Chickens 2 legs. I had  four ways these are them.

1.
4+4+4=12 2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2=24+12=36

2.
4+4=8 2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2=28+8=36

3.
4+4+4+4=16 2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2=20+16=36

4.
4+4+4+4+4+4=20 2+2+2+2+2+2+2+2=16+20=36

YMCA building center year 4 trip

last Friday on the seventh of December we went to the YMCA building center  it was just the year 4's. We did  Archery, rock climbing and clip and climb. I had so much fun my favorite one  was clip and climb,  and my  probably not favorite is the rock climbing, I know what you're thinking it is harder then it sounds. At rock climbing I even got a bruise. Archery was fun to I got the hang of it on my 2nd go, I got four shots on the target all on the white bit. Last but not least my favorite clip and climb was the best.
